Trip to Legacy Museum Set for July 26

Flint River Presbytery has scheduled another trip to The Legacy Museum in Montgomery, Alabama for Saturday, July 26th. Many have taken this field trip together before; however, this time they hope youth - out for the summer and wishing they had something to do - would consider joining them!

Absolutely anyone is invited - but if you have a teenager "hanging around the house," this trip would be an incredible experience that would coincide with most middle/high school curriculum for the school year.

This is a meaningful, insightful, and thoughtful learning experience that NO ONE should miss and ALL are welcome to join.

The group will leave from First Presbyterian Church of Columbus at 10am EST.  They will tour The Legacy Museum beginning at 10am CST until around Noon.  Then they will mosey over to Immanuel Presbyterian in Montgomery, a small, presbyterian church, that has graciously offered use of their air-conditioned fellowship hall in which they will enjoy lunch and a time of reflection and thoughtful discussion before heading back to Columbus with a landing time of approximately 3:00/3:30pm EST.

Bring your own lunch and plenty of water to drink! If your packed lunch needs a small cooler/cooler bag, please bring that, too. Lunch/snacks/drinks are not provided.
