Nurturing Faith at Home: Free Spanish-Language Book Bundles

The Office of Christian Formation and Around the Table are pleased to share an opportunity to support faith formation in the home. They are offering free Spanish-language book bundles of Crecemos en el amor de Dios: Un devocional para la familia(Growing in God's Love: A Family Devotional).

Designed to support faith formation in a variety of household settings, including:

·       families with children

·       grandparents raising children

·       foster families

·       community-based homes

Congregations are encouraged to think creatively about ways to place these books directly into the hands of children and their caregivers. Through funding provided by generous donors and in partnership with Presbyterian Publishing Corporation, approved faith communities will receive 10 complimentary copies to distribute directly to households.

Key details:

• Application deadline: October 9

• If application is approved, books will be shipped in November

• Each approved faith community will receive 10 copies

• Books are intended for direct distribution to households and not for use as a lending library resource

• Priority will be given to smaller congregations and worshiping communities with limited budgets for educational resources

• Books will be shipped directly to the address provided in the application, so accurate shipping information is essential
